Hello again,

thank you I have chosen for our friend

Barron's Painless Poetry     Mary Elizabeth   $7 question: is this a good resource for students who don’t like poetry?

our friend is interested in the year 7 & 8 literature guides - I’m a bit confused with “bundles”

happy to negotiate price!

if that’s ok with you?

God bless

joseph

Hi again,

I can't really tell you from experience if Painless Poetry is a good resource for students who don't like poetry. On the front cover of the book it states "If you think poetry is dull and difficult, open this book - and think again!" so it's aiming to be that kind of resource. The reviews on the Amazon page in the link are all positive.

For the Lightning Literature program you need the teacher's guide, the student workbook and various texts. For Year 7 you need the teacher guide, the student workbook, 4 novels and a book called "Stories and Poems for Highly Intelligent Children of All Ages". For Year 8 you need the teacher guide, the student workbook, 6 novels and "Stories and Poems for Highly Intelligent Children of All Ages". I don't have all the novels for sale, but have some, so for each level I have offerred a bundle with the guide and workbook and what novels I do have. I have one copy of Stories and Poems, so I have a bundle listed for each level that includes it, but if it's sold in a bundle for one year level, it would no longer be available for the other one. The final bundle is for all Year 7 & 8 materials I have, guides, workbooks, novels and the Stories and Poems book. Hope that's a bit clearer.

I realised I had not adjusted prices after one of the Year 8 novels was sold, so I have reduced the prices for the Year 8 bundles to allow for this.

Marg
